Extreme Adventure Races name change

The Extreme Adventure Races website originally catered for supplying participants in events organised by us, over time our customer base has expanded considerably, and we have now renamed ourselves as The Running, Adventure & Outdoor Store to better reflect the full scope of what we now offer. While we are still known for organising epic endurance events like the 250km multi day Fire + Ice Ultra in Iceland along with the Viking Ultra, Annapurna Ultra in Nepal, Rosedale Ultra on the Yorkshire Moors in the UK, and many Half Marathons and 24 hour Endurance events, and twice being Race Director at the Ultra Commonwealth championships, our new name emphasises our much broader focus on supplying high-quality gear for Running, Walking, Trekking, Backpacking, Camping and Outdoor expeditions.

The shift away form Extreme Adventure Races to The Running, Adventure & Outdoor Store helps clarify our dual purpose, not just as race organisers, but also as a go-to destination for everyone looking for Running, Adventure and Outdoor equipment. It’s a name that speaks to both the thrill of being Outdoors in every capacity and the gear that gets you there.

With a background that includes taking part in many Marathons, Ultra Marathons, and Adventure Races, along with experience in taking part in Treks, Climbs, Mountaineering and Adventures all over the world. From the Arctic to the Antarctic, from Deserts to Jungles, from 5km to 100 miles, many 250km multi-day events, these experiences help us to give our customers the best possible help and advice.
